How to Choose Field Hockey Shorts and Bottoms

Field hockey bottoms need to move with you through low lunges and quick sprints. Look for:

  1. Stretch and a gusseted fit for freedom of movement.
  2. Quick-drying fabric that handles sweat and wet turf.
  3. The right length: above the knee so it doesn't interfere with shin guards and socks.
  4. Compression shorts under a skirt or as a base layer.
  5. Leggings or training pants for cold warm-ups.
